Kathleen R. Scott

Kathleen Randolph Scott, age 87, died Friday, May 25, 2012. Funeral services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama, at 2:00 PM CDT on Sunday, May 27, 2012, with Rev. Joey Stafford officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama, 334-272-3181. Kathleen was born April 9, 1925, in Walker County, Alabama. She was predeceased by her husband, Columbus Morgan Scott, her daughter, Jacqueline S. Frost, and her brother, Charles Randolph. Kathleen retired from public service with the State of Alabama Department of Transportation. After retirement, she devoted her life to caring for her son, Joseph Marvin Scott. She was a member of Capitol Heights Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Kathleen is survived by one sister, Reba Stafford (Joe), one brother, Robert Randolph, two children, Emily Barnes (Ben), and Marvin Scott; by three grandchildren, Kristi Springer (Grady), Shelley Barnes, and Andy Barnes; and by three great-grandchildren, Zane Springer, Brandt Springer, and Denver Jane Evans.
