Judith Mary Rodgers, daughter of Charlotte (Smith) and Edward Fitzgerald, born October 19, 1940, died June 15, 2013, at home. Judith is survived by her husband, Thomas Rodgers, her children by William Simons, Sr. (deceased), Mary Simons Gagnon, William Simons, Jr., Katherine Simons Allen, three grandchildren and sister, Charlotte (Fitzgerald) Fogarty.
Judy enjoyed her nursing profession and considered it a joy and service to others. She loved and will be missed by her friends and family. Visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 18th, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service immediately following. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama.
