Judith Israel Oliver, age 79, passed away on January 5, 2022. She was a native of Edenton, N.C. After graduating from John A. Holmes high school in 1961, Judy attended Richmond Memorial Hospital school of Technology where she became a certified X-Ray technologist. In 1966 she married her one true love which brought her to Alabama where she began her lifelong career as an X-ray Technician. In 1992 Judy was diagnosed with breast cancer. A proud survivor, she continued her career where she started performing mammograms and retired in 2008. Judy devoted her life to God, family and friends.
She is survived by her 2 sons Michael D. Oliver, Jr. (Danielle) and Mark S. Oliver, her grandchildren Tripp, Reagan and Dylan Oliver and Ava and Taylor Thompson. She is preceded in death by her parents William R. Israel and Ruth (Newsom) Israel and her husband Michael D. Oliver, Sr.
Services will be held January 21, 2022, at 3:30pm at First Baptist Church Montgomery. Visitation to be held afterwards. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church Montgomery, Community Ministries.
