Tomblin Juanita, 95, Juanita departed this earth for her home with her Heavenly Father. Juanita was a resident of Pensacola, FL for the past 40 years, but a Montgomery native. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents William and Bell Taylor, her first husband, Joe M. Loftin, Sr., of Montgomery, her second husband W. E. Tomblin, and daughter Lynn Marie Loftin of Pensacola. She is survived by her children: Pat and John Barnes and Anita Sedberry of Montgomery, Joe and Wynine Loftin of Pensacola, 5 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She loved her family as well as service to others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pensacola, where she was a member of the Building Committee, a long time Sunday School teacher and a Samaritan hands volunteer. She was selected as the Senior of the Year by her church for her service to others. She was a supporter of Habitat for Humanity and donated 11 lots for construction of homes for others. She was president of W. E. Tomblin Builders, later to become Loftin Construction Company, and was elected President of the Pensacola Home Builders Association. Continuing her service to others, she served as a board member and President of Waterfront Rescue Mission. She was a member and Chairperson of the Pensacola Area Housing Commission. While in Montgomery she was a founding member and first Administrator of the Montgomery Children’s Center. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Graveside services will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, AL, Friday, March 12, 2010 , 3:00 PM. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at Leak Memory Chapel. Memorial donations be made to Montgomery Hospice or a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
