Joyce Elaine Hickman

Joyce Elaine Hickman, 77, a resident of Wetumpka, Al., formerly of Prattville, Al., passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery. Elaine was born May 21, 1945 to James and Pearl Cotton of Montgomery, Al. She graduated from Robert E. Lee in Montgomery in 1963. She worked at the Alabama Hospital Association and then as a Computer Programmer for the State of Alabama for many years until she retired. She enjoyed fishing, especially deep sea fishing, playing Dominoes with everyone at The Gardens of Wetumpka and Alabama Football. Elaine is survived by her two sons Randy (Janet) Hickman and Jamie (Stephanie) Hickman, daughter Jan (Cliff) Free, six grandchildren Courtney Bell, R.J. Hickman, Drew Hickman, Brooke Hickman, Nolan Fletcher and London Free, and two great grandchildren Peyton Hickman and Peri Bell. She is preceded in death by her oldest son Andrew Hickman Jr., her mother Pearl Cotton and her father James Cotton.
