John Charles McNeil Jr transitioned from this life to eternal rest at his home on Dec 12, 2022. John was born in Virginia but later in life settled back in the Montgomery area. John’s career started as an educator for many years in Kentucky, but shifted careers to become a cattle farmer once he moved back to Montgomery. He was a member of the Cattlemen’s Association and Lakeview Baptist Church. He was also a loving caretaker for his mom.
John was preceded in death by his parents John Charles McNeil Sr and Sue Elizabeth Litton McNeil. He is survived by his brother William Allan McNeil (Diane); niece Elizabeth Diane McNeil and nephew William Allan McNeil II.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday Dec 19 at 11am at Leak Memory. A family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
