Hall, John W., age 85 passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Wetumpka Health and Rehab. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Hall. He is survived by two sons, Marc (Karen) Hall, Steve (Robin) Hall; four grandchildren, Bethany (Hunter) Brendle, Lee Hall, Laura Hall, Jessica (Wesley) Nichols and one great-grandson, Fischer Brendle. Mr. Hall served in the United States Navy during World War II. The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Because of “Papaw’s” special relationship with his grandson Lee, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hanan Center, a sheltered workshop at 4335 Norman Bridge Rd., Montgomery, Alabama 36105.
