John Cato, age 68, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Born in Arab, Alabama, John's adoptive parents were Sterling and Rubye Cato. Growing up in Montgomery, he graduated from Lanier High School and ran a landscaping service. He is survived by his wife, Melissa and his brother, Sterling Jr., as well as many other friends and extended family. He will be remembered for his love of life and horses, but missed by all who knew him.
A friends and family visitation for John will be held Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Following the friends and family visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
