Joe Sanford Rosser III (Ford) 22, passed away on May 9, 2022. He is survived by his parents, Joe Sanford and Beth Meadows Rosser Jr., and his brother, Meadows Madden Rosser of Lowndesboro, Alabama. Grandparents include The Reverend Doctor Billy Troy and Brenda Madden Lowe of Cherryville, North Carolina and Mary Allen Meadows and Howard Payne Meadows (deceased) of Lowndesboro, Alabama. Other family members include an aunt, Laura Rosser Van Brunt (Mark) of Phoenix, Arizona; and uncles Payne Ransom Meadows (Jennifer) and Howard Weaver Meadows (Janice) of Greenville, Alabama. Cousins include Claire and Cecilia Van Brunt of Phoenix, Arizona and Mary Virginia, Caroline, Kathleen, and Sarah Allen Meadows of Greenville, Alabama. Ford was born on October 26, 1999 in Montgomery, Alabama and was a member of the Lowndesboro United Methodist Church. He was a 2018 graduate of Lowndes Academy. Currently, he was enrolled as a senior in the Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. From a very young age, Ford was a popular classmate. He was handsome, kind-hearted, smart, and fun to be around. He grew to be a well-rounded athlete who played football and baseball. Ford was admired by his peers and teammates and was respected by his teachers and coaches. He was a bright light for those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by many. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowndesboro United Methodist Church with Reverend Ray Wells officiating. The members of the Lowndes Academy Class of 2018 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Lowndes Academy, P.O.
