JoAnn Hudson Perkins

Mrs. JoAnn Hudson Perkins, age 75, of Auburn, Alabama (formerly of Montgomery) passed away on June 15, 2012 at Bethany House Hospice, after an extended illness. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Perkins and her father, Raymond Hudson. She is survived by her mother, Mary Barberee, and her children, Angie Tucker (Ray) of Montgomery, Sivi Jones ( Warren ) of Auburn, and Scott Perkins (Jennifer) of Suwanee, Georgia, four grandchildren, Kindall Tucker, Andrew and Tyler Hutchison, and Jackson Perkins. Mrs. Perkins was a long-time member of Frazer Memorial Methodist Church and the Living Today Sunday School Class. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow in the Leak Memory Chapel at 1:00 pm with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Hill, Charlie Jones, John Palmer, Glen Pruitt, Jim Holston, and Dick Waring. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Kline, Harry Spinks, Roger Ingram, Paul Marushich, Thomas “Mac” McGehee, Tim Hagler, and Lee Warren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frazer Memorial Methodist Church, In Christ’s Way Fund, or Bethany House Hospice of Auburn, Alabama.
