Joan Thompson Embry, age 90, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Embry Bush (David), Montgomery, AL, and Margaret Embry Hamman, (Tom), Jasper, AL; and two grandsons, Jason and Chris Bush. Born to Julia Young Thompson and John C. Thompson in Red Bay, AL, she spent most of her life in Montgomery, AL. Joan attended Margaret Booth School and Agnes Scott College.
A private family graveside for Joan will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's memory may be made to Presbyterian Home for Children, P.O. Drawer 577, Talladega, Alabama 35161.
