Jennie L. Massey Kennedy

KENNEDY, Jennie L. Massey, 78, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 23, 2012. She was an avid reader and sports enthusiast, especially college and professional football. She received her Masters in Education from Alabama State University. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church for fifty plus years, and was a member of two choirs there. She was preceded in death by her mother Laura Massey, a sister, Ruby Corley and two brothers Willie Edward Massey and Willie Albert Massey. She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Andretta Kennedy of Park Forest, IL; two sons, Arnold (Yvette) Kennedy, Garner, NC; Darryl Kennedy, Montgomery, AL; one brother George (Yunova) Massey, of Miami, FL; Grandchildren, Amber Mathews, Aaqila Harvey, Ivana Kennedy, Yolanda Kennedy, Maya Kennedy and Joseph Kennedy. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Beulah Baptist Church. A Repass will immediately follow the service at the church.
