She is preceded in death by her husband Col. Benjamin Edward Waller III born in Franklin, TN and passed on April 26, 2014, in San Antonio, Tx.
Also preceded in death by her only daughter Kelli Devaughn Harris Damon by a previous marriage to Lloyd Devaughn Harris. Kelli passed in San Antonio, TX.
She was also preceded in death by her parents Clarence Marvin Burrows and Lula Mae Randall Burrows, and two siblings Norma Lou Burkhardt (Joseph), and Linda Clarence Burrows Holcombe (Johnnie).
She has one surviving sister Sherry Burrows Wilkins and brother-in-law Robert J. Wilkins III residing in Montgomery, AL. She also has a loving stepson Benjamin Edward Waller IV residing in Rockwell, TX., a Grandson Reid Jeffery Waller and wife Carly Waller and two great grandchildren Emmy Grace and Luke Waller in TX., and her one surviving granddaughter Samantha Devaughn Damon whom she dearly loved that lives in San Antonio, TX.
As a military wife for many years, she served on various committees and loved every minute of their military times in San Antonio. She and Ben loved traveling in their motor home to various places and to the Orient and Hawaii.
Janice worked in the cosmetic industry for many years as a makeup artist and in various areas in sales. She was an accomplished saleswoman with a unique and friendly way with the customers. Her sweet personality was a persuasive and charming factor to her success. She made many enduring and lifelong friendships and enjoyed life to its fullest. She loved her family with all her heart and will be sorely missed with her soft voice and sweet laughter and will be held in our hearts for many years to come.
Janice is now at peace and with our Lord and all her loved ones that have gone on before her. We all know she will let all of them know up there that she is still a Texas Gal at heart.
