Jane Paulk

Mary Jane Paulk, 89, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. Born to Adger Wheeler and Thelma Arrington Wheeler in Cherokee County Alabama, she was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Elizabeth “Beth” Neeley and her grandson Dusty Paulk. Mrs. Paulk is survived by her husband Thomas Ray Paulk; her sons David Johnson (Judy), Robert W. Paulk (Marie) and Thomas Eugene Paulk (Cindy); her son-in-law David Neeley; her daughter Deborah Baggett (Butch); her siblings Shirley Smith and Terrell Wheeler as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Jane worked for South Central Bell for over 20 years before retirement, but she will be remembered most for her love of cooking and her expertise in the kitchen.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Miles, Clem Paulk, Tommy Paulk, Earl Smith, Keith Smith, Brandon Smith and Jim Wicker.

A visitation for Mrs. Paulk is set for Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00-11:00 am in Leak Memory Chapel. A celebration of life service will begin at 11:00 with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating.
