He was only 28 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Jameson was born on July 31, 1995 in Spartanburg, SC to parents Karl Olious and Sarita (Jones) Strother. After Jameson graduated from Jeff Davis High School, he attended the adult day program at Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation Center until his death.
Jameson enjoyed music, singing and all Disney animated movies and Scooby Doo. Jameson started every day with a smile and ended every day with a smile. Some of his hobbies included playing the keyboard and interacting with his nephews, and he loved puzzles.
Jameson leaves behind his sister Jessica (Derrek) Smiley of Montgomery, AL, an aunt Angela Taylor of Montgomery, AL, uncle Fritz Reginald Strother of Augusta, GA, and two grandmothers, Linda Darnell Strother of Augusta, GA and Mae Ruth Jones of Montgomery, AL. He also leaves behind two nephews and two cousins.
