James “Robert” Ward, age 61 of Wetumpka, passed away on July 27, 2018. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Ward. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Karen Ward; his daughter, Jennifer Lammon and husband Jeremy; his son Charles “Rob” Ward and wife Brittney; three granddaughters, Kaelee Lammon, Carley Ward, and McKenzie Ward; his mother, Jeffie P. Ward, his sister, Lee Burleson and husband Rocky; many special nieces and nephews; and his Dixie Electric, Plumbing, and Air Family. Robert was a dedicated employee at Dixie Electric, Plumbing, and Air where he served 43 years. The family will receive friends at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Robert’s Life will begin at 3:00 pm with interment to immediately follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
