James Alexander Smith Jr., age 67, of Millbrook, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
Survived by his mother, Bonnie G. Smith, Jimmy will be remembered for his quick wit and appreciation for all who helped him. He was still fun to be around even though his last days brought health challenges. Jimmy loved Mexican food and San Marcos in Wetumpka was his favorite. A master mechanic, he loved working on cars and enjoyed NASCAR almost as much as Alabama football. Jimmy will be missed by those who knew him.
A family and friends visitation for Jimmy will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. Following the visitation, there will be a graveside service at 12:00 PM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
