Mr. James 'Auxford' Myers Jr.

Auxford was preceded in death by his parents, James Auxford Myers Sr., and Martha Brown Myers. He is survived by his wife, Sara Jo Sartain Myers, his children, Cassandra Myers Faulkner (Jason), Denise Myers, Marsey Myers Brown (Scott), Tanya Myers Hudson (Bruce); his step sons, Jon Brakefield (Lori) and Barry Brakefield; his grandchildren, Caitlan Faulkner, Joseph Myers Hudson (Savannah), Andrew Hudson (Rose), Stephen Hudson, Sara Grayton Brakefield, Abigail Hudson Brakefield, Lindsey Denise Brown and Maegan Brakefield; and great grandchildren, Willow Sage Hudson, James Hudson, and Kinsley Hudson.

Mr. Myers was known to be a firm believer in Jesus Christ and was an active member of First Baptist Church in Montgomery, where he volunteered at the Caring Center. He was also active in Sunday School and the Senior Adult Ministry. He read his Bible every single day and he loved his Pastor, Mark Bethea and former Pastor, Jay Wolf.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, October 18, 2024. Visitation will be held at 3:00 PM, followed by his Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or to Children's Hope - First Baptist Church Montgomery.
