James Christopher Farris

Farris, James Christopher, 51, received a new body in the presence of his Lord on Friday, January 20, 2012. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, and will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents J.P. and Gladys Hyte and Travis W. Farris and Exie Branch and his father James Travis Farris. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Renee Farris, daughter Melanie R. Gideon, mother Ida F. Farris, sisters Barbara G. Kerns and Teresa L. Lankey, two grandchildren Kyrie and Travis, father-in-law Kerry Webb, sister-in-law Angel Tucker, brother-in-law Robbie Webb, and a special uncle Winston Hyte. He is also survived by two families that have been like family, Jerry and Diane Delrie and Roby and Tammy Blankenship. Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 5pm – 7pm and the service will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10am, followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
