James Bradford Crew

Crew, James Bradford “Brad,” 71, passed away June 28, 2023 after a brief illness. Born July 23,1951, in Verbena, Alabama, he was the son of Jesse James Crew and Ruby Nell Cagle. Brad served three years in the United States Army and two terms in Korea. He worked for many years in furniture sales/management and, most recently, at Bryan Jewelry with his wife. When he wasn’t working or spending time with family, Brad loved playing golf and fishing with friends.

Brad is survived by his loving wife Mary Frank McLean Crew, two sons Mac Crew (Vanessa) and Mike Crew (Lane), four grandchildren Parker, Bennett, McLean, and Penelope (due in September), and two sisters Barbara Gilliland and Linda Walker. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Crew.

A Celebration of Life Chapel service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00, Leak Memory Chapel directing with burial at Greenwood Cemetery officiated by Dr. Anthony Leigh, Senior Vice President Huntingdon College.
