Hillery Samuel Till, age 80, died on November 29, 2012. Sam grew up in Greenville, AL and graduated from Greenville High School and Auburn University. Sam served in the Air Force for 2 years. He also worked with Shell Oil Company as an accountant for 10 years in New Orleans, LA. Subsequently, he worked with Ingalls Ship Building in Pascagoula, MS before moving to Montgomery and working with Fuller and Dees. He retired in 2001, from Alfa (Farmers Federation), after working there for many years as Controller. Sam is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Frank Randall Till; by his daughters, Elaine Till Huff (Stan), Diane Till Henry; by his grandchildren, Randall Huff (Meg), Whitney Huff Warren (Drew), Hillary Huff, Tyler Henry, Christopher Henry and Lauren Henry, great granddaughters, Molly Kate Huff and Chloe Elizabeth Warren. In addition, he is survived by his sisters Dot Keeney, of Auburn, AL, Grace Wasden and Polly Herring, of Greenville, AL, and sister-in-law, Claire Till, of Greenville, AL in addition to many nephews and nieces. Sam was a current member of Highland Ave Baptist Church, and formerly at Cloverdale Baptist Church for many years served as Deacon Emeritus and in many other positions. Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel, at 11:15AM followed by a funeral service at 1:00PM on Sunday, December 2nd.
