Herbert Jackson Meadows, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the age of 72. He loved fast-pitch softball and was inducted into the Fast-Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. He enjoyed sports and was involved in his community as an umpire for baseball and a referee for football. Herb loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Alabama football was his favorite team!! He loved God, his family, and his church. Loving survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Mary Sue Meadows; and his son, Daniel Carey Meadows. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Herbert Meadows, Sr. & Callie K. Meadows.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 11:00am at Pintlala Baptist Church, Pintlala, AL, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, Montgomery.
