Helen Frances Harris passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the age of 90. She loved her family and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and playing games with her great grandchildren. Gardening and cooking were her other favorites. She was known for her especially good biscuits and fried chicken. Spending time with her family and being involved in church were some of her greatest joys. She enjoyed time with children and was always happy to love and care for them.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Burton S. Harris; and sons, Billy Carl Harris and Johnny Roy Harris. She is survived by her children, Mary Jane (Robert) Timms, Jimmy (Anita) Harris, Dianne (Cecil) Harris, Marie (Chris) Lincoln, Brenda (John) Mosley; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren ; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at 10:00am at Leak Memory Chapel with a service at 11:00am in the chapel. Rev. Ron Beckam officiating. Burial will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery.
