Harold Lee McQueen (Tsgt., Retired Air Force) passed away November 29, 2023 at the age of 95. Born October 21, 1928 in Eclectic, AL to Jodie and Gladys Warren McQueen. Harold met and married the love of his life, Peggy Blake McQueen on February 14, 1953 and they celebrated 70 years together. They traveled and raised three children before retiring to Montgomery, AL after 22 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Later they moved to Wetumpka.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James "Red" McQueen, Norman McQueen and sister, Frankie M. Tapley. He is survived by his wife; children, Reggie McQueen (Wendy), Deborah M. Clifford (Fred), and Bobby McQueen (Jamie); eight grandchildren, Skye C. Jones (Scottie), Daniel McQueen (Jeanne), Sissy C. Tucker (Troy), Red McQueen (Krissa), Anna C. Dozier (Michael), Shelby M. Gunn (Lance), Rock Clifford (Lelah) and Sydney M. Cannon (Chase); thirteen great grandchildren, Landon Jones (Kurt Mann), Haggan Parker, Carrington Robledo, Braelynne Parker, Hadley McQueen, Carter Dozier, twins Rob and Sam McQueen, Kase McQueen, Wilder Clifford, Cooper Gunn, Brandon Tucker and Brittany Tucker; and a great great grandchild, Baby Mann, due June 2024. Harold also leaves behind two "special" sisters, Judy Webster and Rhebia Nordan.

Pallbearers will be: Daniel McQueen, Red McQueen, Rock Clifford, Scottie Jones, Troy Tucker, Michael Dozier, Lance Gunn, Chase Cannon, and Rocky Lyons.
A family and friends visitation for Harold will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109 followed by a celebration of life graveside service at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brandon Roney and Chaplain Douglas McKinney officiating.
