Geraldine "Jerry" Phillips Smith

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Philip W. Smith; parents, Pollie and George Phillips; siblings, Howard Phillips, Robert Phillips, William Phillips, Lewis Phillips, Katherine Lambert, and Thelma Williford. Survivors include daughter, Kathy Black; grandchildren, Christi (Jerry) McKinney, Wesley (Marianne) Russell; great grandchildren, Matthew and Hayley McKinney.

Jerry traveled in an RV all over the U.S. with her grandchildren and husband. She pulled for her teams, University of Alabama football and Braves baseball but played softball well into her adult years. but more than sports, she will be remembered for the way she loved her grandchildren.

A visitation for "Jerry" will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a chapel service at 11:00 AM.
