Gennie Belle Dennis

Prattville Health and Rehabilitation. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:15 followed by a 2:30 graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Ed Bowman. Gennie was born July 8, 1917 in Seman, AL. She was married to James Oscar Dennis, deceased in 1997. Gennie retired from the Alabama State Health Dept. in the Vital Statistics Division and also worked at JC Penny's in the business office. She was a member of Eastmont Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL. She is survived by two daughters, Gaybie Dennis Fortinberry (Bill) of Brandon, MS and Brenda Dennis Haley (Joe) of Millbrook, AL., a sister, Nadine Holley of Eclectic, AL., 4 grandchildren; Sean Franklin (Krista), Courtney Stanford, James Scott Dudley (Emily), Richard A.Dudley (Rachel) and 7 great grandchildren; Garrett Stanford, Baker Stanford, Gemma Lynne Franklin, Sam Dudley, Anne Scott Dudley, Charlie Dudley and Luke Dudley. Pallbearers will be David Holley, Larry Lett, Stanley Butler, Travis Hudson, W. L. Cason.
