Gene Rowlen, age 83, of Elmore, Alabama, formally of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Gene is preceded in death by his father, Robert Rowlen Sr.; mother, Ola Rowlen; and brother, Robert Rowlen Jr., He is survived by his nephew, Robert Rowlen.
Gene was described by those who new him as being a trustworthy, honest and down to earth. He was humble and was a breath of fresh air to those who came across him. Gene spent his time crafting model cars, boats, airplanes and many other kind of vehicles. He loved to watch western shows and movies.
A visitation for Gene will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral home located at 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery AL 36109.
