Gaylon Hannah Gwin

Gaylon Hannah Gwin, age 80, of Sellers, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Gaylon was born November 30, 1940 to J.N. Bach and Anne Bach. Graduating from Harding University in journalism, she wrote for the ALABAMA CONSERVATION magazine as well as many other periodicals. Mrs. Gwin was an active member of Liberty Church of Christ who enjoyed sewing and cooking for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jan Bach. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gerald L. Gwin; her children Nick (Kakie) Gwin, Eric (Meloney) Gwin, and Susan Gwin; her brother Rick Bach and 11 grandchildren.

A visitation for Gaylon will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a Celebration of Life chapel service at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with a burial at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens on US Hwy. 331 in Snowdoun, AL. Memorials may be given in her memory to the Liberty Church of Christ Missionary Fund.
