Sylvia, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Fred - wow! 58 years, but I don't think I've ever been around another couple who seemed so attuned to each other and still in love after such a long time.  I have such fond memories of you both.  Please know that I will say a prayer for you and your family in coping with this sadness and loss.

Sylvia, I wanted you to know that I was thinking of you at this difficult time in your life.  Hope you will remember me from Dr. E. Ward Smith's office all the years that you & Fred were patients of ours.  I always enjoyed you two coming in & talking with you & getting to know you better. I join with so many others who knew Fred in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life.

He was more than just a friend; he was an amazing person. He was always so kind and considerate to us that we always welcomed seeing him at every opportunity.

His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. His memory will always remain deep within my heart.
