Frances M. Tatum, age 88, passed quietly in her sleep November 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. Tatum and son Daniel Wesley Tatum, Jr. She is survived by three daughters: Mary Ann Nichols (Walter), Danette Mills (Louis), Jan Lange (Ed); and three grandchildren: John Nichols (Kelly), Melissa Miller (Joseph), and Jennifer Holman (Randy). Her pride and joy were her family and especially her five great grandchildren: Anna Claire Miller, Jonah Miller, Camp Miller, Lucy Nichols, and Reed Holman. Frances was retired from the State of Alabama Public Library Service and was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Special thanks to Angels for the Elderly and their staff for the excellent care she received over the past 6 years. Visitation will be at Leak Memory in Montgomery on Friday, November 29, at 10 am followed by 11:00 am service at Leak Memory Chapel by Dr. Rick Marshall. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
