Forrest Wayne Parker

Forrest Wayne Parker, age 92 of Pike Road, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, September 29th, 2023. He was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church since 1959. He served as a deacon, men’s Sunday school teacher, and stewardship committee member during his many years at Eastern Hills. He enjoyed bird hunting, including pheasant hunting in Nebraska for many years. He was a graduate of Huntingdon College and worked as a CPA for the majority of his life.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Johnnie Ruth King Parker, and by his parents W.C. and Effie Parker of East Brewton, Alabama. He is survived by his daughters, Angela Parker Hand (Mike) and Cindy Parker Langley (Mark); grandchildren, Melanie Hand Stanford (Ryan), Alan Hand, and Adam Langley (Allison); and great-grandsons, Tyler Hand, Parker Langley, and Fletcher Langley.

A private family service will be held Wednesday, October 4th, 2023.
