Evelyn Myers Talley,88, a resident of Millbrook, AL died Thursday, October 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM from Leak-Memory Chapel with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Mrs. Talley was retired from BellSouth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Talley and her parents, were Evelyn Beavers Myers and Fleming Lee Myers. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lewis and son-in-law, Kenneth Lewis (Colorado Springs, Colorado); granddaughter, Amy Lindsey (Millbrook, AL); Drew Lindsey, great grandson (Prattville, AL); Dillon Lindsey, great grandson (Millbrook, AL); Zachary Wolfe, great grandson (Mobile, AL); and Brooks Day, great grandson (Orange Beach, AL). Pallbearers will be Drew Lindsey, Dillon Lindsey, Zachary Wolfe, Jeff Lindsey, Matthew Ames, and Tommy Ames. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home.
