Mr. Emory G. Daniel, 85, of Montgomery passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 after a sudden illness. He was born in Tallassee, AL October 22, 1927 and resided in Montgomery from 1959 for the remainder of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emory G. Daniel, Sr, and Mary Brewer Daniel of Tallassee, AL, two brothers, James Daniel and Harold Daniel and one sister, Minnie Lee Foshee. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Frances Pemberton Daniel, two sons Tim Daniel and wife Linda of Tuscaloosa, AL, Kenneth Daniel and wife Donna of Roswell, GA, six grandchildren Rachel Latham and husband Ryan of Birmingham, AL, Sherrie Falkenstrom and husband Jason of Wellton, AZ, Amy Pribyland husband Chris of Birmingham, AL, Scott Daniel of San Antonio, TX, Alex Daniel of Atlanta, GA, Haley Daniel of Roswell, GA, and six great grandchildren; Jon Daniel Latham, Juliana Latham, James Falkenstrom, Luke Falkenstrom, Bella Pribyl, Catherine Pribyl. Emory served in the Korean War with the United States Army. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17 at White Chapel in Montgomery, AL at 11 a.m. Graveside burial service will immediately follow at noon in Serenity Gardens, Greenwood Cemetery and will be officiated by Rev. Robert Pemberton. Pallbearers are Chuck Barker, Alex Daniel, Ryan Latham, Chris Pribyl, Scott Daniel and Randy Pemberton. Honorary pallbearers are members of McGhee Road Baptist Church, caregivers at Golden Living Center and medical trauma team at Jackson Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to Alzheimer’s research, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in recognition of Emory’s personal experiences and his deep love for his wife, children and grandchildren.
