BOWDOIN, Emily Hinson (80), a lifelong resident of Montgomery, AL and a member of First Baptist Church went home to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, 2019.
Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Harold (Boots) Atwood Bowdoin. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Bivin (Bob), Emily Powell (Chuck), and Harold Bowdoin, Jr. (Julie); two granddaughters, Katie Frances Powell and Emily Haden Powell; and two grandsons, Harold Atwood Bowdoin, III and Harris Adams Bowdoin all of Birmingham.
Services will be held in Stakely Hall at First Baptist Church, Monday, December 2nd at 3:30 p.m. with Jay Wolf officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Sunshine Center, P.O. Box 5160 Montgomery, AL 36103 or to one’s favorite charity.
