Beth loved Jesus from childhood and served in local churches in a variety of roles, everything from Sunday School teacher to committee member/chairperson to deacon to drama team and even going on some missions trips. A gifted artist, she used her creativity in many ways: illustrating her senior yearbook, creating a cover for the church bulletin that was used for years, designing the interiors of four homes, sewing clothes and imaginative Halloween costumes for her three daughters and herself, reupholstering furniture (her own and that of close friends), teaching art at a community center to kids and adults, and spending her retirement painting watercolors and acrylics. She enjoyed traveling, and playing games like bridge, pinochle, other card games, and board games with friends and loved ones. Beth was a fan of classic movies, crossword puzzles, reading, and British tv.
Over the course of her 84 years, Beth was many things to many people: daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and neighbor among other things. In each relationship, her playful sense of humor, insightful wisdom, and genuine caring nature would shine through. She leaves behind a legacy of love and an amazing example for us to follow.
