SMSGT Edward Robert Lee (Red) Taylor, United States Air Force Retired, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014, to be with the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 79.He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Taylor. He is survived by his loving children, Wesley (Lucinda) of Tallassee, AL, and Danny (Celeste) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) of Daphne, AL, Bliss Harper (Jud) of Montgomery, AL, Kevin (Laura) of Atlanta, GA, Emily of Columbia, SC; one great-grandson, Judson Harper of Montgomery, AL; and two sisters, Louise Fuller and Glenda O'Daniel of Calhoun, GA.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Leak Memory Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral services.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Red's honor to those in need during the Christmas holidays.
