Edward P. “Ed” Jones, 83, a resident of Millbrook, AL and formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00PM with Rev. Lenny Bolton and Rev. Bruce Hose officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery in Snowdoun. Ed was a veteran of the Korean War and the owner and operator of Ed’s Bug Shop. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #11 and a member of Alcazar Temple, where he was chief of the clown unit for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.E. and Frances Jones; and sisters, Margaret Steele and Bobbie Barber. Ed is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Connie Roberson Jones; son, Greg Jones (Beth); granddaughters, Jenna Jones and Carly Jones; sisters-in-law, Deborah Sellers (Dana) and Bonnie Roberson; special nephew, Shawn Sellers and his sons, Tyrus and Rowdy Sellers; and numerous other family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Edward P. Jones.
