Edna Till Shellman, 89, of Cecil, Alabama, devoted wife, mother and educator, passed from this life on Friday, January 17. She was married to George B. Shellman, Jr. for 63 years. She is survived by her husband, her children, Paula Lansdon and George B. Shellman, III (Jan); three granddaughters: Arleah Difebbo (Tommy) of Cleveland Tn, Sarah Glass (James) of Gilford, Northern Ireland, Kayla Ramer (Aaron) of Murfreesboro, Tn; four great-granddaughters: Lilianna DiFebbo, MaKayla DiFebbo, Sophie Glass and Kaylynn Ramer; step-granddaughter Nichole Lansdon Gibson (Jerry) of Dothan, Al and step-great grandchildren Abigail Roux and Lansdon O'Mailia; several nieces and nephews. She taught first grade at Pike Road School. She was one of the charter teachers at Trinity Presbyterian School where she taught third grade until she retired. She was an active member of Woodland United Methodist Church and the Pike Road Civic Club. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Pallbearers are: Rogers Till, Ross Till, Garrett Till, Harry Noble, Tom Noble and Will Anderson. Funeral services will be at Leak-Memory Chapel Wednesday, January 22, at 10:30 with visitation at 9:30. Donations may be made to Woodland United Methodist Church.
