Dorothy (DeDot) Jean Wells Robinson peacefully transitioned to heaven on November 26, 2022. Preceding her were her beloved husband, former Mayor C. James (Jim) Robinson, Jr., and her parents, Mildred and Charles Neal Wells. She is survived by her son, Donald James Robinson (Nancy), and her daughter, Vickie Robinson Williams (Scott). She has five grandchildren that lovingly called her DeDot; Sally R. Corley (Niko), Michael Williams, John Neal Robinson (Genevieve), James Wells Robinson (Megan), and Mallory Williams. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; Bailey, Michael Ann, Cate, Anna Robinson, Mary Carlisle, James, Winn, Catherine, Millie, Evelyn, and Jack. She is also survived by her sister, Rebecca (Becky) W. Nielson (Bob), and two nieces; Paige Perdue (Tom) and Wendi Whitehead (Tim) and a host of other great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and beloved friends. DeDot was active in many church and social organizations. She was an accomplished artist and has left a legacy through her art. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Stakely Sanctuary at First Baptist Church, Montgomery, AL. The family will receive friends in the Parlor at 2:00 PM.
