She was born September 13, 1949 to the union of Earnestine and David Tharps, preceded her in death. A son Johnny Parris and a sister Rosetta Tharps who also precede her in death.
At an early age, Doris accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. She served as a member of Murdock Chapel A.M.E. Church. She moved to Chicago at the age of eighteen when she later joined St. John Baptist Church. She earned her degree as a Dental Assistant where she worked for Cook County Hospital for 30 years until she retired.
Left to cherish her memories: her husband Paul Daniely. Her sons: Michael Coprich, Chicago, IL, James Parris, TN and Tabious Parris, Chicago, IL. Sisters: Earnestine (Samuel) Brown, Montgomery, AL, Shirley Hamilton, Montgomery, AL, Delphine (Sylvester) Thomas, Montgomery, AL, Maranda Gardner, Montgomery, AL. One brother: James (Geraldine)Tate, Detroit, MI. Two grandsons: Jaylen Coprich, Chicago, IL and Nehemiah Clay, Chicago, IL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
