Donald Arthur Drennen Jr., age 78, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. Donald was born February 8, 1944 to Helen Elizabeth Richardson Drennen and Donald Arthur Drennen Sr.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 55 + years, Barbara Jean (Orewiler) Drennen; his daughter Teri Drennen Wiedeburg (William); his daughter Jami Sue Britt; and his son Daniel Alan Drennen; his brother Jeffrey Alan Drennen (Jann); his grandchildren Christopher Jim Britt II (Shannon ), Brandon Nicholas Britt , Aaron Luis Britt, Aldrick Alan Drennen, Derrick Alexander Drennen, Jacob Bryce Drennen, Jonathan Hansen Wiedeburg, Abigail Jean Wiedeburg and his great grandchild Ezra Kanan Britt.
Donald was preceded in death by his father Donald Arthur Drennen Sr and his mother Helen Elizabeth Richardson Drennen.
Donald retired from a career with the Air Force and was later employed by the Montgomery Advertiser. Later he rejoined the workforce by working at the City of Montgomery Lagoon Park Golf Course. Donald received his Bachelors Degree from Faulkner University and he was an avid golfer and sports fan. Above all he loved his church and was a devoted member of Eastmont Baptist Church and his Sunday School Class. Don was a huge fan of Ohio State football and the world's largest consumer of Pepsi!!!
