Coleman and brothers Scott J and Mark R. He received his BS degree in Business Administration from Troy University after serving 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. As a civilian he served in various managerial positions. An avid bowler, he was the Association Manager and a member of the Hall of Fame for the Central Alabama USBC Bowling Association. He served in the patrol division as a Volunteer in Police Service (VIPS) in Montgomery.
Also, he was a volunteer with the Hospice Vet to Vet program. He was an avid Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots fan.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Coleman; his son Christopher P. Coleman (Shari); daughter Jill C. Tindal (Steve); grandson Coleman S. Tindal (Vivian); two sisters Nancy Brown and Sandra Contois (Bernie).
Military gravesite services will be held at Serenity Gardens at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home on Monday Sept 9, from 12-2:00 PM with graveside service immediately after at 2 pm.
