Diana was the beloved wife of William Edward Brendle Sr. for 66 years, sister of Ardelia Hayes and Marion Poole, and the loving mother of William Edward Brendle Jr. (Kelly), Michael David Brendle (La Donna), Leanne McIlwain (Willard), and Melissa Ruth Brendle (Ricky). She was also a cherished grandmother to Ashton Nichole Brendle, Alexis Rambo, Alanna Rambo, Lauren Brendle, Lawson Brendle (Logan), Austin McIlwain, Jade Beasley, Ava McIlwain, Dylan Rambo, Alex McIlwain, Adalynn Grace Cole, and Tiger Lily Rambo. Diana was preceded in death by her grandparents, Felix and Mattie Fuller.
Diana had a fulfilling career as the office manager of Brendle Fire Equipment. Her faith was an integral part of her life, as Diana found solace and spiritual nourishment at Frazer. She walked her faith with grace, finding strength in the embrace of her religious community. In her free time, Diana found joy in various hobbies. From the gentle artistry of pottery to engaging in friendly games of bridge, she sought fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life. Her voice joined in beautiful harmony with the choir, and her keen decorating skills brought beauty to every space she touched. Diana also had a keen eye for fashion and enjoyed exploring the world of shopping.
Diana's family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. A celebration of life chapel service will follow at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with a burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. John Ed Matheson officiating.
Diana will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and all who knew her. May her soul rest in peace.
