Debra Kaye Clifton Betts

Debra Kaye Clifton Betts, 53, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at White Chapel Funeral Home from 6pm – 8pm. Graveside services will be at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at White Chapel at 1 pm prior to the service. Debra was born to Robert and Mildred Clifton in San Antonio, TX on September 15, 1958. She was an Air Force dependent who lived in Texas, Biloxi, MS, Anchorage, AK and lastly Montgomery, AL. She graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1976 and was employed by Herff Jones until her retirement last year. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Betts; sons, Chris Webb (Tasha), BJ Webb (Shauntea); sister, Patricia Campbell (Danny), all of Montgomery, Randy Clifton (Pam) of Chesapeake, VA, Jim Clifton (Jonelle) of Hanford, CA; and grandchildren, Bella, Brianna, Chase, Taylor, Bryce and Kevin. Pallbearers will be Percy Richards, Mike Kionka, T.J. Kionka, Curtis Campbell, Josh Howell and Frank Reda. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Baptist Hospice in memory of Debra Betts.
