Deborah Mitchell Duncan Powell

Deborah Mitchell Duncan Powell of Prattville, Alabama passed away on August 21, 2018 at the age of 56. She was born on December 21, 1961 at Jackson Hospital to Bill and Ann Mitchell. Deborah attended Highland Gardens Elementary School, Capitol Heights Jr. High, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1980. She loved her family, especially her 2 children, Mitch and Kendall Duncan, and her 2 Bischon dogs, Cupcake and Jopus.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kelvey and Georgia Roberts and Charles and Doris Mitchell; sister in law, Sherri Duncan; father in law, Rev. Charles Duncan; and father in law, Roy Donald Powell.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Terry Powell; parents, Bill and Ann Mitchell; children, son, Mitch Duncan, and daughter, Kendall Duncan; and sisters, Donna Mitchell Bate (Robert), Dena Mitchell Hamilton (Billy), and Dana Mitchell Abrams.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 at Leak Memory Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00pm, officiated by Mike Northcutt and Bubba Lambert. Pallbearers to include: Hunter Abrams, Chance Abrams, Tim Abrams, Robert Bate, Billy Hamilton, and Tyler Duncan.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Joye Bigelow and the entire TRC Family, The Palliative Care Team at Baptist Hospital South as well as the MICU Nurses, and Pastors Mike Northcutt and Bubba Lambert.
