Deborah Allen Carr

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert David Carr; father, James Henry Allen; mother, Evelyn Forbus Allen; father in law, Robert A. Carr; and mother in law, Peggy J. Carr. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer C. Carson (Shane) and Sherry C. Barnes (Ben); as well as her grandchildren, Catherine V. Barnes, McKinley A. Carson, Benjamin G. Barnes and Cade A. Carson.

Deborah was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved her family, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and the children of First Methodist Church. It was at this church that Deborah spent many years caring for children and shaped the youth for over two decades. She vehemently believed in Auburn and loved it, especially Auburn Football. Deborah was a very special woman who touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service for Deborah will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church located at 2416 West Cloverdale Park, Montgomery, AL 36106.
