Clinton Moye Thames

Clinton Moye Thames, age 54, passed away peacefully at his home in Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Whetstone Thames, and Mary Louise Moye (Baby Doll) Thames. He is survived by his son, Clinton Moye Thames Jr.; sister, Mary Elizabeth Thames; brother, David Whetstone Thames, Jr.; uncle, William Gordon Thames; and cousins William Gordon Thames, Jr. (Mary Owen), Irene Thames Gardner (Huey), Lilly Thames Lerner, in addition to numerous friends and extended family members.

Clint was a devoted and loving father to his son, Clint, Jr. Raised in Montgomery, he attended Auburn University and graduated from AUM. Clint was an avid Auburn football fan.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel with the Reverend H. Huey Gardner officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service from 10 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Montgomery Humane Society or a charity of one’s choice.
