Charles Mitchell

Bonnie Charles Mitchell, 90, a resident of Montgomery, AL., passed away October 10, 2022. Funeral services will be Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Duke officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30 pm in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Eclectic, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Mitchell was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. He loved laughing and loved his grand and great grandchildren even more. He was always willing to give up life advice and a great man to strive to be like. He also was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years Lovie Joyce Brooks Mitchell, daughter Sandra Joyce Mitchell and his parents Brady Crudy Mitchell and Ozella Pearl Lamberth Mitchell. He is survived by daughter Mary Payne and husband Phillip, son John David Mitchell, Sr. and wife Jill, grandchildren Michael Ritch and wife Ellen, John Mitchell, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Robert Mitchell and wife Natie, Mitchel Payne and Brady Mitchell and great grandchildren Eli Ritch, Clara Ritch, Ethan Ritch, Lillian Mitchell, Caleb Stinson, Elliot Mitchell.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Michael Ritch, John Mitchell, Jr., Robert Mitchell, Mitchel Payne, Brady Mitchell and Caleb Stinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Clark and Landon Ledbetter.
