Charles Lee Evans

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army where he served in Special Forces. He was a Master Mason and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 35 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Evans and a son, Tommy Evans. He is survived by three sons, Chuck Evans (Miri), Danny Evans (Mindy), Phillip Evans (Joan) and Bobby Hale; four daughters, Tammy Castleman, Beth Hale, Cate Trammel and Kimberly Witt (David); two sisters, Gerrie McGuff (Jimmy) and Jo Ann Jarrett (Billy); 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2105 at Alabama Heritage Funeral home with Bishop Terry Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
