Catherine Alford Gray went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 24th, at the age of 91. She was a resident of Montgomery since 1935. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, James Ellis Gray and her son, Julius Ellis Gray (Sonny). She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Claire Gray; two granddaughters, Melody Tholstrup (Clarence Jr.) and Mary Allison Souphom (Sisay); four great grandchildren, Timothy Garrette, Jr. (T.J.). Meaghan Claire Tholstrup, Carson Gray Tholstrup and Siam Gray Souphom and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday, January 27th at 2:00 pm at First Assembly of God Church on Bell Road, where Catherine was a member since 1943. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Deatsville.
